Exchange Carts

Looking to change the size of your existing solid waste carts? You've come to the right place. Homeowners may make one free exchange in 2024.

You can currently exchange Recycling and Organics carts.

Once your exchange request has been received and processed, the City and contractor will make every effort to contact you for the exchange within 15 business days. A small, but dedicated team is working on the exchanges, your patience is appreciated.

Garbage carts are not available for exchange at this time.

Solid Waste Curbside Fees - 2024 & 2025

For most households, the annual solid waste fees for all three carts are determined by the size of the Organics cart. Please see below for the 2024 & 2025 rates:

Conditions: Cart exchange requests and additional cart requests must be submitted by the property owner . All cart exchange and additional cart requests are subject to approval.
